Business back on a moderate growth path during Sormat’s 40th year
The latest information continues to signal an improvement in economic activity in the second half of this year. European Central Bank expects the euro area economy in 2010 to recover at a gradual pace, recognizing that the outlook remains subject to high uncertainty.
Sormat among the other players in the construction industry has experienced a sharp downturn since last January. During the last few months it has been followed by a relatively sharp recovery. One reason for that is the liquidation of inventories in all levels of the value chain, and restocking that takes place in recovery.
The outlook for the rest of the year is very positive, and Sormat has budgeted healthy growth figures for the next year. We thank our customers for their commitment and we are proud to follow the Sormat slogan “Trusted fixings since 1970” also during our 40th year in 2010.
The new A4 stainless S-KAH with ETA option 1
We are very pleased that the production and the sales of the new ETA1 approved A4 stainless S-KAH range have started extremely well. We have been able to win new markets and the customers have been happy with the improved functionality and the competitive pricing of the new through bolts.
For even more extreme conditions in ultra corrosive environment we have High Corrosion Resistant version S-KAH HCR made of EN 1.4529 grade steel. It also has ETA 1 approval.
Service during the holiday season
This coming holiday season, we at Sormat have decided to serve our customers also during the Christmas and the New Year weeks. As we are not working with full capacity at that time, we urge you to place your main orders for the end of the year and for the beginning of next year by 4th December 2009 to ensure the availability of all products needed.
