SORMAT NEWSLETTER APRIL 2011
Our Topics in April:
Sormat active at the Fastener Fair, Mosbuild, K-Rauta Tools on the Road and Ahlsell Proffsdraget!
Spring 2011 has been very active time for Sormat and our partners. Sormat stand at the Fastener Fair in Stuttgart, Germany in February was one of the busiest. I can admit that the level of interest towards Sormat products and brand surprised me. Mosbuild was another positive experience. Sormat was very professionally exhibited and demonstrated at the F-Expert’s stand. The audience was holding their breath during the pull-out show of Andrey Tipaev. Very good job!
Road-shows have an important promotional role in the hardware business. We have had the honor of participating to 35 K-Rauta Tools on the Road -morning shows around Finland and simultaneously to 29 Ahlsell Proffsdraget – shows throughout Sweden. I could not be more happy about the performance of our Finnish and Swedish sales teams!
A new Sormat Concrete Screw S-CS available now!
During Autumn 2010 Sormat launched the new S-CS concrete screw for the Finnish domestic market. C-SC was most warmly welcomed by professionals and DIY-builders alike. S-CS is NOW available also for our international customers. Please note that S-CS is also featured in our DIY-selection! Should you have interest towards the new S-CS in your markets please contact to your Sormat salesperson at your earliest convenience in order to have it available for you.
The S-CS will not replace the ETA 1 approved Sormat Multi-Monti® concrete screw, but offer a Sormat quality product with a competitive price into applications where ETA approval is not needed. The zinc plated S-CS is available with hexagon head (type S), with hexagon head and flange (type SS) and with countersunk head (type F). S-CS is easy to install manually with a wrench although usually an impact screw driver is used. Only a small drill hole diameter is needed. S-CS is removable and reusable. It generates no expansion forces when installed, which means small spacing and edge distances. The S-CS provides full safety by mechanical interlock.
Sormat adds new LAL to its drop-in-anchor range!
Sormat adds drop-in-anchor with a lip to its family of trusted high-tech fixings. The new zinc plated arrival is called LAL and it makes drop-in-anchor installation easier and safer since the lip assures flush placement and keeps the anchor from slipping too deep keeping it perpendicular to the surface of the concrete. LAL can be used also in hollow concrete slabs. Please contact Sormat sales for more information concerning the range and availability of the newcomer.
Sormat Services during the summer holiday season
